Thanks! I plan on taking it to the LBS to get it fitted and get the shifters adjusted as I think the chain is rubbing a bit in certain gear ratios. The real challenge comes when going climbing (old bike was a compact, this is a double, and the 45 mi maiden voyage had only slight hills) as well as keeping it white haha...

Did some updates to the 09 Orbea Orca. I put on new Zipp SL bars Traditional Bend, Zipp Stem, 3t LTD seat post, Fizik Antres braide Carbon seat, Yokozuna Reaction cables, and kmc 10sl chain. With the new changes it came out to 14 lb. 10 oz. according to the shops scale. I was pleased with the weight, although that wasn't my main goal it was nice. If you ride Sram Red I can recommend the Reaction cables they work great, totally changed the brake feel for the better and the shifting is better then ever. I also think the KMC chain is quiter than the SRAM chain I had.

After going though so many pages of beautiful bikes, I am almost embarrased to put my bike here, but here it is.
I have already upgraded the brake calipers to Dura Ace as the stock were Textro R750's and I did not like thier performance. The Dura Ace are a world apart. 400 miles and I am very happy with the bike. The 50cm frame is perfect for my size, 5'8" as a smaller frame is stronger and lighter. 16.4 lbs with pedals.

Nice bike!
I have the same, CFR Team/Dura Ace, got it a couple weeks ago. I'm upgrading the crankset, brake calipers, bottom bracket to Dura Ace. Hopefully they'll all be here next week. I also got a Dura Ace pedals.

Getting rid of the BMC Pro Machine..Riding the Lynskey now and just fixed up a SS for rainy days...Didn't ride the BMC very much...Hard to explain but with a TI bike you just keep updating the components..with the CF bike I felt like I need the latest model every year( that's just me...) Here is the BMC and the Lynskey. The Lynskey was flat satin...used a dremel and some metal polish and looks like chrome after about 30 hours!

Project for Winter
Thought I would build myself a TT bike over Winter. EBay new (oldstock) frame, new parts from Ebay and onsale at other online retailers. Total investment about $1500, not including wheels which I had already. Can't wait to check top speed.

I love those Zipp bars. I'd like to find a bar like that in alloy.

just bought a Schwinn LeTour. lovely bike, ultra-smooth ride and gear changing. it's in near-perfect condition.
just needs a bit of alterations...that front fender keeps getting bent in the bike racks so it's gonna have to go. the brake pads need a replacement (but they're tuned JUST RIGHT), and it needs a little lubed up.

Flyte SRS-2 w/ Ritchey OCR/Specialized Mondo, Shimano Pro cockpit, FSA crank and f. derailleur, Fi'zik Arione , Weyless post, and a mixture of Shimano components. Think I might sell it to make room for a new MTB.

I think Psimet races on one as well. The ride is actually smooth, though you wouldn't guess it by looking at the frame.
