Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

my 2 cents. Im about 6'4" or 6'5" and ride a 63cm cannondale. I have pretty long legs and arms, but it was sized right for me. I wouldnt think a 61 would fit someone a little taller than me, but its all about the specifics

That does look allot better, but I prefer my Spingergys naked I dunno their logo is kinda too much, but I keep the stickers on the Zipps.

I really like the setup with the two position post, and the clip ons. I've contemplated such a setup to try for TT, until I get a real TT bike. I've yet to try any kind of aerobars before, or time trials for that matter.

I'd keep the decals, but loose all the stuff hanging off of the bike. What are those on the chain stays??

I agree. What's up with the water cage off the seat? The frame is drilled for 2, why not use them?

Well, she's dressed for work. I didn't take off stuff to post the picture. Are you talking about the cadence monitor? I have a CatEye double wireless.

I'm short and the bike's a 51. Two cages don't allow me to get it on and off the bike rack easily. So, bottles behind. And if anyone's thinking about getting them, get the Profile Design; they don't bounce out like another brand I know.

I picked up the 2 bottle holder for my friend and his 70's road bike without any drill cage braze ons. We have yet to install it and use it, but I keep telling him he needs to. Much better than carrying a backpack, though he does use his jersey pockets.

Howdy! I'm a cheap dufus (doofus; duphus, douphus, doufus...???), anyway, partly out of a family tradition of making poor decisions, or just good ol' stubborn ess, I get my charge from using vintage things and restoring them and not allowing myself to be a consumer of everything presently offered. I drive early 60's, 70's cars and trucks and as an avid bicyclist ride a '79 Panasonic cro-mo road bike and an '85 (new to me) Raleigh mountain bike. I never buy things new and always at yard sale prices. I throw away all my earnings on failed small businesses. Obviously some things like tires have to be purchased new. Anyway, this is an image of the two bikes. The Pano weighs in at 19.7 lbs with seat and pedals according to the certified scales at my old aerospace lab which moved out of country in '99. I ride both of them (not at once) and put in about 25-35 miles per day 4 days per week. Mucho fun!!

I found a link to a forum with lots of alligator ilink installation pics, it's in French, but the pictures help me anyway. Hope it helps you!
