Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Travel Cases for Integrated Seat Masts

With bikes with integrated seat masts becoming more common (i.e Trek, Look, Giant, Scott, etc.) Is someone making bike cases designed for these.

My Giant will not fit in an XL Bike Pro USA case.

Scott indicated when they brough out the Plasma that they would have a case for it, but I haven't found that.

These guys claim this will work with most ISP bikes.

Anybody have that case, or know of another that will work?

if all else fails, pulling the drive-side crank would probably make it fit.

This is a height issue, not a width issue.

A buddy of mine has a look 595 with isp. He told me that his bike is "impossible" to travel with. It's a 60cm frame. Poor guy.

ISP is nice but highly unpractical.

One more reason (among many) that integrated seat posts are a foolish fad that will soon pass.

Or someone will turn a problem into an opportunity and design a case into which a bike with an ISP fits. I think they will be around for good.

Yep, a few threads over there on the subject. There seem to be other hard and soft cases that will fit the integrated posts. Some of the solutions are very expensive tough.
