Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The shop I got the Halo from recommended it over the Gutter but it didn't seem to work, at least in my opinion. Not sure if any of these really work but would love to know while I can still carry this one back since it doesn't really work...TIA!
I've been using a gut'r for about nine or ten months now. I love it and swear by it.

I have a halo and I think it's gimmicky. I find the plastic band uncomfortable so I usually ride with it turned inside out.

I prefer the headsweats headband on hot days and the basic Pearl Izumi band on cooler days. Overall I think the headsweats gives you the most bang for the buck.

normally, I just use a sweat band. Works as long as you don't stop. Once you stop, seems the sweat just pours over the sweat band. Sweat in the eyes, it stings as much as sea water.

Halo - wear it a little below the helmet. Even on the most brutally hot days, I get very minimal drippage.

I actually prefer some of the thicker euro team headbands.. They have a little more forehead coverage and are thicker than anything I have seen in the US.. They work great.. I bought mine from a woman who sells older team issue clothing in Ireland.. She is a good seller.. She has several different teams to choose from..

Halo II is the headband version, seems that it is universal size. and there is no elastic to wear out. so how does one secure it on the head?

Halo I (tie version) or Halo II headband is better choice for use with helmet?

TIA!
