Do roadies do this?
Put on protectors for the chain stays? I'm just wondering if it's politically correct to protect the chain stay on a roadie.
I'm still going to put one on. Just curious what most roadies do.

mine came with something on the chain stays... i dont' really get it and wouldn't have thought to put something there on my own. I'd guess it's more unnecessary than anti-OCP... actually, I suppose being unnecessary makes it a better candidate for OCP status ;p

Naw, ...you'll be good. I would'nt worry too much about an OCP officer having a problem with that!
........but then again, you never know.

On 2 of my bikes, they are Au Natural, as in None

On my Carbon Bike, Yes, there is a protector
On my steel Commuter, Yes, there is a clear protector
On my Aluminum MTB, No, for it has elevated stays.
