Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bikes: The kind with two wheels

A teenie-weenie yellow bikini and a blowup doll...

You know, just when I thought I've seen it all while on a ride....

I waited until later in the afternoon to allow the temps to warm up. We've gone through a cold snap here. It was only about 64 (mild by our standards lately) when I departed after watching the Packers' beat the Giants to go 2-0. (Yes, there is joy in Cheeseheadville today)

On the way out as I passed a local park I saw a homemade sign saying, "Red's 80th". The sign was being held by a blowup doll sitting in the back of a pickup truck also holding a bunch of red balloons. Nice.

Then on the way back I heard loud music along the parkway. Lots of cars parked. I figured someone was having a party. Not exactly.

"Bikini Bike Wash" the sign said.

And sure enough.
Despite it being only in the mid-60's under a mostly cloudy sky with a chilly wind of about 12-15 blowing, there from the center of the driveway, surrounded by five yelping, shirtless guys emerges a hottie in a yellow bikini.

All I could could think to myself was, "Man, it's not that warm out here. She must be cold in that."

Alas, I am indeed getting old.

Alas, I am indeed turning into a dirty old man.
Fixed.

Yes, a photo would be nice. And not of the blow up doll.
