Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

New build...what frame**********??

Hey Everyone,

I'm starting a new road bike build and i'm not sure what frame to go after. I'm going to be racing probably 20 times a year on this new bike, and it will also be used for training and leisure rides/centuries. I love the feel of carbon but i'm wary of getting a full carbon bike because of the possibility of it being ruined in a crash. I was thinking about building up a six13 because it has some carbon to soften the ride but there is more aluminum which would help in the event of a crash. I was also looking at the LeMond frames that are half carbon/half aluminum

I'm looking to spend around $1000 for the frame, any suggestions?
