Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Dont work for Esaote. I am in the freight game in the UK and do lots of work for GE Medical. It is all theirs.

That piccy of all the Cyfacs in a line. Did it come from the web somewhere cos it looks like a picture taken by my (ex) local bike shop, which went bust, but which imported lots of Cyfacs. It is where all mine came from.
Pictures dont really do the frames justice. You want to see the close up detailing.

My Nervs are like my wife. Each one bleeds me dry without me noticing. What I mean is they are so reactive to ride that you just keep going and going. Then the bonk comes all at once, wheras with most bikes you get more tired. With a Cyfac, it is go go go go stop!

(I hope terms like bonk are generic across the world or this could get confusing!)

Mismanagement is essence Softly. I know however they intend rising from the ashes, and will still be doing Cyfac stuff, which is good. Did you know any of the guys. I still ride with Graeme and Dave is opening up the shop again soon.

wow bassy, I usually hate the look of matching tires to a frame but that is sharp looking!

good work.

My frameset is for sale now if anyone is interested, asking $1000 (yes that is a ridiculous deal considering the frames retail for $2400, but I can't cash in off of a sponsorship it wouldn't be right). So if someone wants to get first dibs, send me a PM and we'll work it out.

Cyfac Le Mythique with Record 10 group. It's a mid 2000's TT frame of a type actually raced in Grand Tours which I set up as road bike. With the short wheelbase handling is very quick

Just picked up this Cyfac Proxydium a few days ago. Beyond excited!

Already raised the handlebar (which required new Campy cables) to accommodate a bum shoulder. Upcoming mods will include clipless pedals, gel seat, new handlebar wraps (black/white) and the requisite bottle holder. Also have 3M wrap arriving shortly which I'll use to protect vulnerable areas.

My LBS is a Cyfac dealer and I drool every time I go in there. amazing stuff. Spoke to the rep a few times and with my weird body measurements (short torso, long arms) they were saying that a custom build is probably good for me. Of course it is.... it's also $$$$ out of my price range.
