Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Pinnacle?

I have been riding an old Pinnacle bike I purchased for 5 dollars from a thrift shop. I dont really know much about it, and am curious if anyone has any insight about the bike. It's a 12 speed, cottered crank, etc. I searched google and on the forums and couldnt find anything on the it. Any thoughts?

Hmmm, I would provide photos except I just painted the frame, as its previous paint job was in rough shape to say the least. I would put it at maybe mid eighties for age, though I couldnt really tell you. I'll look more closely and see if i can find any more distinct markings etc.

5 bucks? Sounds like a "Catch Of The Day" to me

You need to post pics in the Classic and Vintage forum. They will be happy to help you out with any info needed.
