As for ranting, I probably was. As many have said, I just need to "HTFU." Sorry for providing fodder for those who wanted to discuss squirrels in wheels and other miscellaneous things. I'll keep going to the group rides and I'm sure I'll improve.
I can guess what they are, but this club has no designated 'C', 'B', or 'A' riding. It has around 20 people, who start out as one group and eventually spread out into roughly two.
I will follow the suggestion to look for a charity ride. If my town's big enough to have MS walks, they probably have charity rides too.
