Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Not very elite here. Hmmm.....

Please stop the labels, taunting and negative comments about each other. It makes for a better forum.

Thank you.

I like the guy who said on page 4:

Where's the original poster?

I think he never asked for advice, he was just ranting!
Posted 7 hours after my latest.

Sorry I don't live on the Web, dude.

As for ranting, I probably was. As many have said, I just need to "HTFU." Sorry for providing fodder for those who wanted to discuss squirrels in wheels and other miscellaneous things. I'll keep going to the group rides and I'm sure I'll improve.

I can guess what they are, but this club has no designated 'C', 'B', or 'A' riding. It has around 20 people, who start out as one group and eventually spread out into roughly two.

I will follow the suggestion to look for a charity ride. If my town's big enough to have MS walks, they probably have charity rides too.

This thread is a descent into Fred Hell. I know because I think I saw Chipcom at the door.

Incorrect,

Chipcom is not at the door, he is deep inside Fred Hell.

You however are edging closer to that door everyday - after all, if you could mistake Chipcom for being at the enterance, where must you be?
