Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

on nashbar's site, they only list items in stock when you drop menu to select the color/size etc..

haven't had a problem yet with an item being out of stock there.

I get that all the time with amazon though.. amazon really blows.

they're both about the same IMO...you can get a good deal at both...if I had a local Performance that would be great...however shipping takes a long time to get to me...if I have the choice I'll take PBK!

They seem to discount stuff out on Nashbar more than they do Performance. I've found a few really good deals on Nashbar of late (e.g. Mavic Askium rear wheel for $60). When bargain hunting I always check out Nashbar first.

Of course for good deals available everyday PBK is hard to beat, even with the US dollar swirling around the crapper.

There's a lot of fred gear at MEC, but race gear... not so much.
You should be happy you even get "Depots" or "Warehouses" because those stores charge a lot for shipping and they are prone to getting caught at customs.
They've saved my butt more than once the night before a race when I needed _________. Maybe it's just a CX thing, but we got through parts at a shocking rate. I get stuff through Performance (tubes, cleats, pumps) that my team discount can't match.

As far as my bike... I shook the hand that made my frame.
