Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Rode my bike

I rode my bike 40km into a 15km/k headwind (one way) with a 4c temp in short sleeves tonight. Averaged 27kmh; not bad for a poser. Though I would post this. Seems most road posters never post about riding, just posing.

Was it also uphill both ways?

Sorry, just teasing. Glad to see another person who doesn't mind the cold.

edit: Are there any actual hills at all in Winterpeg? I don't recall seeing any the various times I've been there.

Living on flat plains is just too depressing. I hunt for hills on my ride.

I dodge potholes and stolen cars on my rides.
