Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

that assos jacket looks like something they give away at baseball games. i know the stuff is top quality, but the styling leaves so much to be desired. i've been wearing my rapha shell off the bike a lot though.
155$ is a great deal, i bet they go quick.

When does she let you play with your penis? On Sunday afternoons, if you've been a good boy?

Is it me or does it look like that guy just got b***h slapped by an invisible hand? By one of those really fast cameras that like, can capture the instant something happens.

Yes they still exist. They are the people that had to have more house then they could afford, and a new car that they leased, and two or more plasma TVs and a house load of furniture. They took huge vacations. Everything was done on credit. They are the people that have wrecked the economy and are now looking for the government to bail them out so they don't lose their 5000+ sq ft house with the three car garage.

They were called hippies, then yuppies, now they are called pr!ck$.

Yes I am bitter.............................................and debt free.

Edit: Sorry for the off topic rant. Back to the pretty man in the bibs....

Really? I sure wouldn't use yuppie around here to describe what you just described. Yuppies around here are the 20 somethings to early 30 somethings with 6 figure income. Lives in SOMA, drives BMWs and hangs out a wine bars. Don't usually own a house, they like to rent super expensive apts in the middle of the next happening part of the town.

The real question is the reason for the objection. Is it a matter of "We can't afford it." or "You're stupid for wanting it."?

yep, it was pretty much "that thing is ugly. wth is up with that zipper?" the looks did not justify the pricetag.

oh well, I predict a "my gf is pissed at me for buying a Rapha" thread in a few days.

The Rapha Lightweight Softshell Jacket is a great piece of kit. It might be too warm for SFO at the moment. But perfect for your winter. I get to SFO fairly often and have not used it for a couple of months. I have used it in grey old UK through out the winter.

Don't listen to the anti-Rapha snobs.
