Of all of bike's I have seen you post, the Orca is the dullest. I guess that's saying something about the high quality of your collection!

I prefer to have the crankarm extend out at the same angle as the chainstay....

Vic - I have to admit that your Orca's were an inspiration to me - fine examples of simplicity done right in a high tech bike. Well, except for the Shimano drivetrain.

Your photos are beautiful. If I hadn't just gotten my Diva frame, I'd consider the Orca. Classic colors (in two seasons pistachio will be passe', then what? New bike?), gorgeous construction, quality work...even with Shimano.

20 D's are good cameras. I've had mine for about 6 months. Picked it up off a friend who replaced it with the newer generation something or other. I wish it had the bigger screen like the new ones but for what I paid, I can't complain.

I know that it's a controversial bike round here, but the thing your pictures really bring out is the way the design flows -- you stare at the top tube, suddenly you realize your staring at the seatstays or the downtube -- it just merges into one.

I've gotten 3 rides in so far, about a hundred miles. Nice is about all I can say at this point. Didn't blow me away but it certainly isn't disappointing. I'm really REALLY happy with the fit.

It's light and very responsive. But I've been riding steel so much lately, I need to get past the new bike euphoria to give it a real evaluation.

Yes it can with a professional lighting setup like he has.

Nice! What wheelset? What is the weight?

Well yeah... add the studio lightings, the diffuser screens, and everything u learned from your photography class and training.

The red cables do complement the red tires, but to my taste, I rather have those shifter cables hidden, a bit impossible I know.

Since I ride most of the time with my hands on top, I woulnd't mind having classic shifters on the downtube, and do away with the extra cables and have things cleaner, but that's just old foggie me.

Gold accents on the components, not on the frame.
