Wow. All this when two minutes with an allen key and a pedal change makes this bike a pure velodrome machine. Some people with much better bike handling skills than I enjoy using riser bars on their fixed gear road bikes.

Just today I saw a guy in a cardigan, khakis, and deck shoes commuting along on a full-DA Trek Disco replica - - with mud guards and plastic platform pedals.
I was appalled...
And considered chasing him down and offering him £100 for it.

It's not hard to change pedals. MTB pedals are easier to use in the city. I've been known to commute on my Madone. Is that not allowed either?
