@ColtJ you gonna keep the Propel and the Orbea? Or sell the Propsel? They serve a similar purpose.
nice bike btw.

While I still own a Propel (sitting as a frame right now), I've had a Felt AR and a Fuji SL since the first Propel.
So in a way, yes, moved from the Propel to the Orca Aero.

Do you still own the TCR? That's also a very nice and very different bike.

[QUOTE=ColtJ;20064008]Actually no, I should update my signature.
I'll get some completed and better pics soon.
I replaced it with an Orca some time back.
[/Q I like the looks of this. I ride a 2012 orange and black Orca, team colors. This latest version looks perhaps more supple in the ride with the long seat post and slimmer tube shapes. UOTE]

I'm really not a fan of the seat post jacked way up just for the picture.

Ok, the bike has been shown in various forms in other threads, but I've kept tweaking it, changed over some parts, etc. I'm finally ready to submit it to the judgment of the enforcers of the velominati and cycling fashionistas.
This bike was ordered and configured to be ridden by a superclyde (around 282 and slowly trending lower), which influenced certain decisions. I'm extremely happy with the feel and ride of this bike currently.
Lynskey R260 with Lynskey Ti setback seatpost, Ultegra 6870 Di2, plus my own customizations and mods:
1) I swapped the Lynskey saddle out for my Brooks B17.
2) Self-built set of "AeroClyde" wheels. 36/36 spokes, CX-Sprint front, Sapim Force rear, White Industries CLD hubs, Light-Bicycle 46mm x 28mm carbon rims, Shimano Ultegra 8000 rotors, wearing Compass 32mm Stampede Pass gumwall tires.
3) Combo mount putting Garmin Edge 500 and Nightrider Lumina 950 light onto a single stem mounting.
4) 3T Ergonova Pro alloy handlebar (46cm) wrapped in red Fizik tape.
5) Single-piece 35mm Ti spacer from Ti-Cycles.
6) 110mm VCRC Pro stem.
Saddle/bar drop is around 65mm currently, which for my current shape is about as low as practical.

Remove all accessories, shift into big ring, small cog combo, retake photo.. including a side angle shot.

Ok, thanks for the feedback. I'll remove the tool bag, rear and front lights, and Garmin and reshoot. I tried to stage it correctly re: valve stem and pedal orientation, but missed the chain not being in high gear.

It's this one. It's actually too short in its intended orientation to get the proper downward angle for the light for night riding, so I had to flip it over and swap the garmin and gopro mounts. There's a slightly longer version of the same mount, and plenty of other models as well that I saw on eBay. The light was only too long by like a couple of mm, so the slightly longer variant would be perfect. It's not a bad option for cheap, but that F3 mount someone linked in another thread several weeks ago would look much better.

The F3 looks like it would work better.

Given the plethora of eBay options that would work for around the same money, including the longer version of the one I have, it may not be worth it, but mine was only like a couple mm too short for the Lumina 950. If your 650 has a shorter body it might actually be fine. I could get some angle with mine, but just not enough, given my stem has some positive angle to it. One very nice thing about mine is that it's about as compact as it can be, keeping the Garmin from sticking way out in front. The F3 is extendable, so it could be adjusted to be as short as possible while fitting the light and the Garmin; it just costs three times as much.
Regardless of the specific model used, having ridden with the Garmin and Niterider mounted separately to the handlebar, and now with them on this combo mount, the combo mount is extremely nice. Having the cockpit completely decluttered is very satisfying.

I don't usually ride my road bike at night because the Zipp SL70 aero handlebars force me to mount the lights on the drops, but a mount like this would solve that problem. My commuter bike uses round bullhorns, so there's no issue getting both lights(Niterider 650 + 400) mounted right next to the stem.

Giant TCR Disc
Just finished the build of my Giant TCR Disc. Most of my riding is hilly (N. California), so I wanted something light with disc brakes. This comes in at exactly 15 lbs according to my wildly inaccurate fishing scale. It rides amazing, but not sure I'm totally sold on the look of disc brakes.

Nice, IMO could use some white or red bar tape.

I think the Giant is hot in a black/gray bike way. I think disc brakes look awesome personally, nicely done.
SethAZ, once you RESTAGE the pic I think that bike will be really nice. While not sure about the hot part on aesthetics (we'll see), I have to complement you on the build. Well thought out, and great specs (other than that seat but I respect how well they work for some ). Your wheel choices are fantastic, ride safely and have fun!
