Nice bike and it is good to see the newest iteration of this bike. In 2005 I bought one for my wife.

this is a 2011 that was purchased as a leftover in 2013. He had some 60mm Reynolds wheels on it, but he put those on his new bike.

Nice bike, but I do not agree with the color yellow on the wheelset.

I agree. They matched the Fuji Transonic 1.1 that they came from, but he put his 60mm Reynolds wheelset on the new bike.

I rode a Blue for years, fantastic bikes that don't get seen enough. Yours is a very nice one.

he should put them back on the fuji and keep the 60's on the blue.
Lovin the SRAM. I'm surprised you even let him own that, let alone post a picture for him. :thumb:

He took a test ride on my Di2 9070 equipped bike, and bought a bike with Di2 the next day.

He's selling the Blue now, because he knows he'll never ride it again.

I told him to keep it, because it's almost worthless. :innocent:

He knows he'll never ride SRAM again, and the wife wants it gone, so it's got to go.

Even though he knows he'll never ride SRAM again, the wife wants it gone, so she's got to go.

Fixed that for you.

I should have said, "there's no resale value in it".

He could save it for a rainy day, but it almost never rains here.

A friend's new ride

No, the bars aren't angled up.

That handlebar is totally angled up.

It's a Speedvagen thing. The seat tube/seatmast, and topper are made Enve.

That's a Speedvagen? That's walking the I-didn't-buy-it-to-impress-anyone walk, right there.

This is the "Hot r Not" thread, not the "Pimp My Bike" thread. Yours is a very nice bike, but it's not hot, and I'm afraid there aren't any upgrades that will ever make it so. You might play around with the colors a bit (celeste sidewall tires and high-profile rim logos?) and that might make it hotter, but for the most part those won't be upgrades.

Why are you posting your friend's bikes? They aren't all that hot. A little unusual, and not bad, but nothing to write home about, as they say. I thought we were only supposed to post our own bikes. Was I mistaken? I've seen some amazingly hot bikes that I would have snapped and shared here if I'd known.

I haven't seen that rule being followed here.

What crawled up your ass today? 2 posts in a row, complaining about people following the "rules" of the thread. Get over it.

 Should I? Whatever it was, it must be going around, because I was wondering what had gotten into some other folks to make them so cranky today...!
