https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...95a1fe351b.jpg I know the pedals are garbage, please excuse my sloppiness. It's brand new to me 😎 Aside from that, a recable and some brown bar tape are all I have planned. |

The nose of the saddle is past the crankset axle, that can't be a good balanced fit on a road bike. Thats farther forward than even some road converted triathlon bikes with aerobars.

Good color and components but why didn't the framebuilder tackle the reach issue with a shorter top tube and stem?
Yea so actually its my poor photography. The seat sits in the middle of the rails and the frame was designed with a straight post in mind. My torso is very long and legs very short creating a situation where I need a long top tube. This also dictates that i need to get more forward on the bike so my pedal stroke is aligned with the bottom bracket, hence no set back post. The abundance of seat tube was do to my request of an angled top tube to allow for standover clearance...and I wanted more exposed seat tube than a horizontal TT would allow lol. I'll try to take some better pictures some other time, I'm seeing what you're seeing in those photos. The Toupe saddle with its long nose doesn't help either I guess. |

Mine is -7* but I don't think that would make it any stiffer. I'm using Ritchey WCS neo-classic bars, which are alloy. They aren't particularly flexy or stiff, perhaps a little movement in the drops. Sounds like you're a watt monster to me :D.

I was going to mention the logo on the frame. Reminds me of a comic book title or something.

Just picked it up today, what upgrades could I do to it.https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...7c1885cd7.jpeg |
NOT, there's potential Go back and read how this works |
Are people who post NDS photos in this thread just trolling?
|
No not trolling,just a simple question |
Do better.

The least you could do is remove the dork disk and set the Garmin mount either horisontal or in line with the stem, then take a better picture. But it's a big frame and it will be hard to ever make it look really hot in pictures, especially with that spacer stack (that I presume you need for fit reason, which is fine but will never look hot).

To the member who posted the Bianchi, take the picture again but this time show the bike from the drivetrain side (the side with the componentry facing the picture). Remember to have the chain in the biggest chainring up front and the smallest cog on the cassette. If we want to be really nit-picky, make sure each valve stem in at the 6:00 position and confirm that the crank-arm facing us is at the 3:00 position. The “dork disk” referred to above is the black disk behind the cassette on the wheel. Take that off as there is no reason for it. From what I’ve seen so far, most of the members on this thread don’t consider a bike “hot” unless the stem is at the lowest point on the fork, that is, with no spacers underneath and with the excess above cut. They seem to be looking for the biggest, or most aggressive, drop between the saddle and the handlebars. In other words, they look for bikes with “slammed” handlebars. Be aware that “slamming” the handlebars is unattainable for some riders due to fit problems. Generally, if you want to slam the bars you should lower the bars incrementally one spacer at a time over a length of time to give your body the requisite time to adjust and gain flexibility. Lastly, it is highly unlikely that the memebers on this thread will ever consider your bike “hot” with those wheels. For a bike like yours, carbon wheels will be necessary for praise. From what I’ve seen, only fully “built” bikes will be considered hot. That is, bikes that are fully upgraded with more aggressive riding positions, carbon wheels, and various other upgraded parts. As others have said, you have a nice start. That Bianchi is a nice looking bike with tremendous potential. I hope you enjoy building it however you deem appropriate! |
To me, the mount looks like it's angled slightly more upward than the stem.
