Lol...thank you iPhone camera. That's a Portrait mode straight off the camera, no editing.

Good grief that's terrible. As a dslr guy, I would never use that portrait mode again. At least not on bikes.

As far as the bike, I like it, but I think it would look better if the bike was more perpendicular to the sun or another light source so you have even exposure on both the wheels. That way one doesn't look more grey than the other.

Not. One point deducted for each spoke.

not "Hot", but still a nice bike. The wheel decals are way too much.

I'm a little disappointed by the lack of criticism.

Screw you guys...

Pathetic. You aren't even trying.

OK. Rear derailleur cable should be black (all IMO). Loose the saddle bag. Stem isn't slammed. Are those quick release levers that are not lined up with the fork and seat-stays? Pedal profile not lined up with the crank arm. Angle of the photo makes the wheels look like they are different sizes.

There, feel better :D

Overall i I like it. I would recable it with black outer cables, ditch the SS bottle cages and tilt the handle bars down a tad.

They are actually level, but the photo makes them look like they are turned up.

the skewers are in the proper position. I've never understood why you newbs criticize proper skewer position.

noodle soup 05-03-18 08:43 PM

Thanks guys. I was worried you were getting too soft.

IKR? QR levers lined up with frame and fork are idiotic unless intended as some sort of half-arsed theft prevention. (Makes the bike more resistant to crosswinds!)

You want sleek and/or anti-theft? Allen key skewers FTW.

that hideous logo-covered stem needs to be stripped of all the RITCHEY RITCHEY RITCHEY verbiage
while functional, the ultegra crank destroys the entire look. Replace with a ROTOR crank or, at the very least, a black FSA one or something. Grey just looks like ass.

While I agree with both points, it's unlikely that I'll change either. This is a bike made up of components I had sitting my spare parts bin, and I probably won't spend a dime on improving it appearance. This bike was forced back into use due to the theft of my primary road bike.

I should hear back from my insurance company early next week. Hopefully I'll be new bike shopping very soon.

We also need to talk about your cross-chaining.

everyone is playing nice with you.

Up turned stem, with a huge stack of spacers? Everyone just let it go.

Not Hot, but not a POS bike.

Are you are serious? This is the hot-or-not thread, not the practical bike or this is my bike thread. Slammed stems and all the other stuff that makes a bike look hot are kind of idiotic.

Thanks for helping to point out how stupid this thread has become.

People get respect/kudos/props for things like hiding QR levers behind frame tubes, and "slamming the stem".
