Is this Mr. Pink frameset? How does it ride? Been eyeing this frame vs the Ritchey Logic as a commuter and epic adventure bike.

I can take the paint job (tho gray-pink makes better duotone) but those cable housing are too much

Would also go with black plastic or CF cages to match the rims since nothing else on bike is chrome

i ****ing love it. it's plenty fast and snappy. but ive also been known to toss 35's on it and hit up some gravel and light singletrack (hence the spd pedals). i also test fitted a 650b x 43mm tire and wheelset with some long reach brakes and there was plenty of clearance.
the 2017 mr pink comes with a carbon fork too, which is nice but NOTHING beats this paint imo.

they're not chrome. they're stainless king cages. also, the gold braided housing is just ugly enough to work hahaha but i agree. i'll most likely to back to a darker cable housing soon.

Looks like the stem has a grotesquely runny nose.
Other than that, it's pretty cool.

redfooj 08-04-17 05:19 PM

another saddle would do the olmo great and id sink the quill stem a little deeper in the headtube but really sweet overall

Updated the brakes and will be fitting on a new saddle in time to come.

Still waiting for a longer stem though.

Fantastic bike, and absolutely positively hot. I love Time bikes though, so perhaps I'm a bit biased. Nevertheless, the French flag colors as accents on the frame are nice, and you went with Campagnolo--which in my opinion should be the only groupset allowed for any Time frame. The only thing I dislike is the carbon saddle, but that's nitpicking.

Very nice.

I have a 1984 Guerciotti with 1992 Chorus in the works.

Frameset is perfect.

king_boru 08-05-17 10:56 PM

Did somebody ever figure out derailleur stretch,...?

:innocent:

Also no worries on the wheels, I ride a small bike too, wheels dwarf any frame less than size 56 IMO. Size 51, similar classic style frame, not the American/Giant weirdness with massive downsloping short top tubed compact frames.

That's not a classic style frame. A classic style frame has a level top tube.

To be honest, I'm not a big All City fan but that bike is HOT in pink...

If you cut that stack off, that would lighten it up some. NOT:twitchy:
