+1. BF points for rocking Psimets on a CAAD.

I thought the same thing. The bike is probably a not no matter what you do but with that craptacular presentation it never had a chance.

Sorry, I know this is a great bike and I have a lot of respect for CAAD 10's as one of the most competent machines out there, but aesthetically they're vanilla and there is really nothing to set this one apart from any other CAAD 10 which are a dime a dozen at this point in this thread. My bikes are in the same boat. :)

Andy Somnifac 12-05-11 09:03 AM

Need to have it fit (and swap pedals, obviously), and take delivery, but my new ride:

The stem kind of ruins it for me. I think it'd be hot otherwise.

I could add some handlebar streamers. Would that help?

ravenmore 12-05-11 09:41 AM

Streamers are always a nice touch.

It's a '99 2500 SL with full Chorus 9 speed

That is exactly what it is, at its best.

That said, I don't think that is the case with the Parlee. I'm sure he would have a standard 6 or 7 degree stem if he didn't need that much drop, but the fact he has that aggressive stem should mean he does need to have it slammed and hasn't gotten around to cutting the steerer, or just doesn't want to.

How pathetic...

to post a picture of your bike with an artificial representation of your setup. Oh, right, but it looks more aesthetically pleasing that way to you. ughh

It's a picture of a bike... not a picture of me riding a bike. It's part of photography. If you can't understand that, then you're pathetic, ignorant, and closed-minded. Most people also ride with saddle bags, bottle cages and bottles, but for the purpose of this thread, those things are removed.

You're new and don't know what this thread is about. Looking aesthetically pleasing is what this thread is about. If it bothers you just ignore this thread.

My comment was strictly about fit and nothing more. I didn't realize how ridiculous it was to post a pic of your bike correctly portrayed for riding.

I am still laughing out lout as I type this. One of the best responses to a hot or not post in this entire thread. But seriously Cane, that's not breaking BF rules as much as tearing them up into pieces and taking a whiz on the pile. I like the bike though, even though it's the same bike as the 05-06 Allez. (Minus groupset)

Edit: I should note, before Ravenmore posts 26 pictures of his bike again, that I meant the A1 Allez, not the E5. ;) Also, I figured you would start point ot eh differences. But it is much closer to say, my allez.

Not a submittable for Hot or Not just a show of comparison against the Synapse. (I know I know, wrong gear, walls aren't perfect. No garage) Pic was taken like 1 year ago. just to show off the new then wheels.

Even I'm tired of looking at pics of that bike. :D

Hey now - look, don't come in here with your 5 posts and start looking down your nose at something you have no idea what you're talking about. This is a completely pithy and shallow thread, and we like it that way. ;)

Seriously, if you don't like this thread go play somewhere else. There are plenty of threads for posting bikes as you ride them on a daily basis.

LOGICK ONE 12-05-11 11:58 AM

Added the tri-spoke as a trainer wheel. Train heavy. Race light.
