I've been too busy with school to finish building this up but here's the new bike. Mentally picture some bar tape and a cut steerer and you're set.

Heard it was a nightmare to import a Canyon into the US, how'd it work out for you?
1: put in the order, they assemble and send you an email with an invoice once the bike is prepared to ship. 2: Wire the money to their bank account (or do a credit card order via fax or phone) 3: They send via Schenker, the bike arrives in about a week 4: The bike gets held up in customs for another week while you're praying to god that you won't have to pay an import tax 5: Bike gets released with no fees, Schenker delivers to your home (although I have heard that others had to pick their bikes up at the local airport). BTW: Thanks ninjaman, but unfortunately the bike is more fit for ProTour-level competition than the rider. |
Really sweet ride nonetheless!
|
They really charge you $300 for shipping, though?
|
More or less. I think it was $200. I'm sure they could find a cheaper shipping agency than Schenker, but the total cost with shipping was 2239 Euro, which isn't bad for a complete bike w/ full Chorus.
