KMC X10SL's are my favorite chain. Pretty much all I use.

I've had several single speeds. I ride them on roads and even *gasp* on group rides with other roadies. :) I've posted them all over this forum and I think even in this thread.

Thanks! Yeah, still have the Giant. I've made a few changes but for the most part it still looks the same. Did 70 miles on it yesterday. :) I also have an S-Works E5 now and go back and forth between the two.

I have no problem with a ss/fg bike in this thread. I user mine for road riding all the time.

Hot BMC... I'd consider and SLX for my next road bike. Did you build it up yourself with the Soul's and Rival or buy it complete? They seem affordable which is what I'll be looking for when the time comes later this year. Any idea of the weight with your configuration?

Thanks. I got it complete on sale from competitive cyclist earlier this year. The bike came with Mavic Aksium Race wheels and I changed them to the Soul set afterwards. I'm not sure what the current weight is.

I was actually pulled over for speeding and was given a warning for not having a bell or lights. Now I have a bell and I only put the lights on if I'll be out within half an hour of sunrise or sunset (I checked the law lol).

About a week ago a cop told me "the blinkies!" as i rode by (around 9PM). I had the back blinky on but forgot to put the front one. Stopped, put the front blinky on and carried on. I found the cop's comment cool, caring about the cyclists' safety.

That's pretty cool of them. I think ours are out for some easy ticket money. I just saw on a local site that the Toronto police are doing a zero tolerance bike blitz next week.
