My humble submission:http://blackwalnutjigs.com/images/secteur.jpg

You're gonna get roasted for that stem.

VA_Esquire 12-31-11 09:32 PM

The Colnago I think is hot. The Specialized not so much for obvious reasons.

Negative saddle to bar drop is tough to pull off in the realm of aesthetics.

Agree. My personal tastes however, prefers that the manufacturer name be painted once, or maybe twice on each side of the bike. The overwhelming majority of manufacturers do just that. 4 or 5 logos is overkill IMO.

This one is fun on so many levels:

1. the property looks like something owned by cousin Eddie.

http://i1210.photobucket.com/albums/...ddie-xmas1.jpg

2. When I started riding, I had to reach down to shift gears. With this bike I would have to reach up.

3. Even the cone is broken.

This puts me in a New Years mood, anyone up for a little "Edward 40 Hands?"

Happy New Year everyone!

^hideous. Lots of money thrown at a bike does not equal hot.

This is probably the most heavily branded bike that I've seen that I think is stonkin' ass hot.

If you need to look up a word, you should probably not stop at the first definition. If memory serves, VA_E is in (or is aiming at) law school. Look up 'Esquire' in that context.

Don't you hate it when one of the Three Stooges shows you how silly and ignorant you can be at times?

Soloist Assassin 01-01-12 07:44 AM

I give the Colnago a solid 95deg. It could get up into the 120s with some small changes. Saddle, bartape, pedals, 2 bottle cages, remove the spacers, and properly stage the bike.

fa63 01-01-12 08:16 AM

Other than the bar tape, which looks like the Michelin man / dough boy, and the handlebar angle which looks a bit off, that Colnago is hot, a million logos and all..

X-LinkedRider 01-01-12 09:05 AM

The angle of the handlebars is not off. It is an Integrated stem/bar. That is just the design of the bras apparently. I'm not a fan either.

fa63 01-01-12 09:14 AM

I see (I posted that from my phone, but looking at the computer now it is very obvious).

Diggin it.

Forza 01-01-12 11:15 AM

Compact crank on the S5 (SRAM S975 w/no SRM or Quarq too?), and what looks to be a 12-28 in the rear....seems odd...and the wrong frame for the intended purpose, or at least its configuration.

looks like it's set up to do challenge/charity rides...
