I like the Venge.
|
I really like the component choice as well as the overall aesthetic. I would say it is hot.. there's something about the subtle red tones that really work.

Thanks Charlie! The red only appears on the top tube as the "Pro" as well as few words on the seat tube. Also, small accent on cages. Not seen in this photo but the bars have a small Easton logo in red on front and the Selle Italia seat has a red stripe going down the middle. Im considering building a lightweight set of climbing wheels this winter and using red hubs as well. The rest of the wheel will be black.

No you need a heavy ass Cavendish Stem. It looks so awesome on a Venge. It's worth the weight, just in pure appearance value.
Speaking of 3T noodles. This is about as 100deg, as a 3T stem could be. http://img.artscyclery.com/product/3TATS6B.jpg |

Holy S*** that is going to look great on my Scott CR1 SL.
You realize that 100 degrees F is just barely warm, right? Just checking....

The stem bike combo, just cannot be beat. The way the top tube rises up behind the stem, it just looks great. Especially in the 135mm length. |

Man, those wheels sound awful. Wait, that whooshing was the sound of butterfly's escaping Lawcheehung's stomach he was so uncontrollably in love. Someone want to get a hose before that soaks into the mortar.

Since everyone else is trying to direct the sole use of their nonsense rating systems I see no reason not to coin my own. This one is real simple and only requires three ratings; Hot, OK, and Not. Very easy to figure out three point scale denoted by the following symbol with three being hot like below.
