Whoosh, I see you're in RVA as well, any chance you were at the Milestone ride yesterday? I saw a bike that looked just like yours mounted on the back of a car as I was pulling in to unload. Great ride.

I could be wrong but I that's not his bikeep. He was bringing it up by showing me that my bikeep would look good with Boyd 58mm wheels.

I see, well someone here in Richmond must agree with the SS/Boyd combo, then! Now that I think about it, the bike I saw might have had the green SRAM Red group, but otherwise identical to the pic.

Interesting frame, what year is it? I would like to see better pictures, but I am not a fan of the aesthetics of it's current configuration.

I thought about doing the same thing but I thought it was OD. I just have the same Planet X brakes and a Gold Chain catcher. I "had" a gold chain but it's no longer gold.

That one is a Colnago Mexico Oro. Some of them have a real gold plate finish. Pope JP II was gifted one by Colnago and you'll find a few more pics of them on the net. I've seen a mint one in the flesh and it was unbelievable.
