Blue tires work for me. The blue "K" is a nice touch too.

All the effort to get the lighting correct and you still have that stand! Get some fishing line or something to hold the bike you can photoshopo out. Go for the floating look.

wow that bike looks fast... very very fast.
I wonder how it looks when you blow by people... like a blue blur, or maybe a blue train made of steel...

Blue Steel!

I think it's ok with the blue tires because they match the frame color. If they match his team kit then that's awesome. If he doesn't race then I would swap for some more subtle black tires.

Got the tires for a steal on ebay since not many covet the color. My kit for next season will be in this color scheme.

Definitely HOT. Colored tires doesn't always work well for the majority of the bikes I've seen, but this is just about perfect. Well done. And +1 for that FSA stem with the blue trim.

Looks like every time someone posts a pic of a bike with these letters on the wheels: Z I P P, it's automatically HOT.

Even better with cheaper tires. It's def a hot color scheme going on since it matches. Keep it for sure!

kingfishr 09-14-12 12:07 PM

After riding my old Colnago Super this summer and finding my times and performance were not that much worse than my CF bike I started to keep my eyes open for something that could be still have the vintage look with modern index shifting. I found a nice nearly unused Colnago X-Lite with 9 speed Ultegra in France. I was looking for Campy to match my existing wheelsets, but I am going to give the existing setup a try. Either I will keep the Shimano and add an alloy Ultegra crank, or I will switch it all over to 9 speed alloy Campy.

Totally freaking HOTTT!!! Not usually a fan of predominantly black frames, but this looks great... It needs another bottle cage though since it deserves to be ridden a lot! :) One question, what is the difference between the Fulcrum Racing 1 Competition and Fulcrum Racing Zero???
