For some reason, I took a pic a couple hours before the crit that evening.

Then I raced that night. Sorry, not the greatest, but it's all I could get from them.

Not sure, but I'm guessing it was a chainring that did the saddle.

Back together.

LAJ, any frame damage? Looks good back together.

Fairly hot ... remove the Reynolds decals except the small R at the valve stem :thumb:

Thanks. No frame damage at all. Wheels needed to be trued, and a little road rash on the shifters. Saddle, hoods, bars, and rear derailleur were replaced.

Sorry for not being 53x11, but switched from Zipps to my old wheels and got some gumwalls. Classy as hell if I may say so. Don't mind the tape, I'm mocking up a paintjob I'm gonna be doing later this summer. It shall be winner.

gunmetal walled tires are ****ing ugly/

I bet they add a ton of rotational weight, too.

gc3 07-14-13 08:44 PM

"gunmetal walled" tires, eh? must be some kind of special order....

Not bad, but the straight fork does not match the nice curve of the seat stays ... lukewarm

This might be hot for some people ... but it's a NOT for me.
Cables way too long. Too much blue. Bar tape, cables, and sidewalls are just too much. Bike is simply too large to look ok. Sometimes this happens with my shoes. The sample shoe looks awesome, then take out my size and they look like skis... This is kinda what this bike looks like. It's so big the wheels look like 650's...

I've heard and read great and wonderful things about this bike. And it does look sweet. But it's white. I want to like it, I really do. And I DO like it. But it doesn't qualify as "HOT" to me, sorry.

Nice setup and photo, though, I'll give you that.

My Ardennes are "wide" at 23mm. Guess I'm cool already! But sorry to disappoint you, I was just pressing some veloplugs into a set of Reynolds Attacks haha
