That's the most boring paint I've ever seen from Pegoretti. The handlebar/brifter orientation (and is that 3mm Fizik tape?) is like a glamor shot of the inside of a luxury car, with a tacky seat cushion from Walmart draped over the driver's seat. The fact that the Kirk doesn't have the funky handlebar accommodations leads me to think something about the size on the Peg is wrong- top tube too long? Perspective could be screwing with me (the Kirk has a sloping top tube, right?), but the Peg looks bigger. |

^ Simple, but hot.
With training wheels (OpenPro/Ultegra hubs). Won't purchase new wheels until I drop my last 20lbs. Still rides nicer than most of the newer bikes out there right now. http://i62.tinypic.com/ezpj5x.jpg |

New tape, cables and cable housings for the new year. Can probably shorten some of the cables another 1/2", I think. Only ridden it on the trainer so far, so I'll wait until I get a few road rides in before I start cutting again.
http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=427599 also, I have a gold chain waiting for when this one needs replacing  |

Apologize for the non clipless and saddle bag. :wtf: That's the kind of pedals my shop puts on bikes for people to test ride - but more often pink or fluorescent green. :) |

ill throw my hat into the ring. Budged build, mix of 105 & random parts. 90's trek aluminum frame, media-blasted. Judge away! What is on the spacers? or it that how the spacers are? |

I've posted this a couple of other places, people seem to like it.
In order to get clearance for the 35mm wide Kendas I have to completely remove the micro adjusters so the the rear axle can be slammed all the way back in the rear dropout. http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=428026 |

Otherwise a clean bike, certainly not ugly, just doesn't get to the lust worthy threshold of hot. |

Even as a self-proclaimed foil hater, that's hot.

the stem is really tall.... Which is a typical position for Clydesdale that lack flexibility (or support enough gut) that that they can't pivot forward at the hips. If if your seat is improperly set too far back, then the reach to the handlrbars would be so challenging that the raised position is justified (sort of). But if your seat was moved forward and as you become more flexible, adjusting the saddle and lowering the bars will both adjust the positioning to a more "traditionally hot" stance. |
