Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

that is what I suspected, and that would confirm my thought about the reach being too much for me. I wish TTT offered a shorter reach version.

This is a new build so the seat, stem and bars will get adjusted a bit as I get comfortable. My first bike with Sram Force 22 and I like it. I also like the November wheels.

Saddle and bar tape color just don't go. Cold.

Agree. I also don't care for the shape of the drops, but that might be personal preference.

I'd hate to say it but I think it could actually use some decals. Nothing huge or flashy, but the white parts just look bare.

Bike definitely has potential but needs further customization.

Very nice. Not easy to make the saddle and bar tape work, but Id say it def works here.

As a Wilier owner, what's so irritating about Wilier is their insistence on putting "wilier.it". While there was a remote chance that my 2010 vintage Wilier helped the Google-challenged find them on the web, it is 2016 now. I'd peel those off, but alas, it's under the clearcoat.

Unclickable links are a scourge that needs to be wiped out.

That and any words on the frame of a bike other than the name of the bike producer and the model. Bikes that have stuff like "modular transitional compliancy high modulus grommit" written on the chainstay or top tube need to just stop it.

Equally any bike that has "Shimano" written on it in big letters looks like a Wal-mart bike. I'm looking at you Trek Emonda ALR 5.

Shaped seat post topped by Brooks pushed forward with saddlebag tabs = C&V meets the 33

Would moving the bars so that they're ground level (levers pointing straight down) not be comfortable?

I think you're right. I thought the setup still looked funny. I'll try rotating the bars some (I'm not going to mess with the levers since the bartape is so new at the moment).

Here's how it was before this progression of pictures
