As a Ti bike guy and Campy guy, I really like the Moots. I would say that putting some black rim wheels on, medium depth will make it hotter looking. I am not a big fan of gum wall tires on most bike builds.

Yeah, really tiny frame. Short guy, so traditional tt's leave me with a fist full of seatpost. Fit hasn't been dialed, prob come down ~ half an inch.

a question about that beautiful Moots...I've noticed some modern bikes have laid-back seat-posts...if you want to be a little more stretched out, why not just use a stem with more reach...is being a little more over the back wheel adding stability?

Because the alignment with your knee and pedal is not affected by the length of your stem but the setback on your seat post. It could be forward too. It depends on your femur length. And the setback on the saddle can vary between bikes due to the angle of the seatpost per bike geometry and size.

Correct position over your pedal is created by moving your saddle fore and aft.
Too far forward and you will find yourself pedalling more with your quads (and they will start to ache).
Too far back and you will pedal more with your hamstrings (and they will start to ache).
Correct position will see you pedalling with both hamstrings and quads in unison (and you will not find quads or hamstrings getting more sore than each other).
Stem length is more about putting the bar in the correct position so that you are comfortable (no neck and back pain) and to help with how the bicycle handles when turning.
