Just like texting, most things across the internet are easy to misinterpret the way information is meant to be taken. No sense of tone or body language can leave someone's post or reply open to different contexts. I'm a good guy but sometimes my opinions can come on strong. Sorry if I have offended you with any of my comments or opinions.

Bianchi's the Simon Cowell of "Hot r Not"-- gives an unvarnished opinion everytime. Nothing wrong with that. The charge juicer lost me at shimergo.

Here's my new build - a Charge Juicer frame/fork with Shimergo setup (Chorus 11 levers shifting 7700 rd and 6500 fd). The brakes are Paul Racer Mediums. I had a shop cable it up and they recommended the up and over routing for the front. It's getting a Barfly, stainless cages of some kind, and fenders soon.
EDIT: I see why you went with the routing like you did. Cool brakes.

I'm really digging the brakes. Good modulation, plenty of power, and they won't pinch the fenders I'm planning to install. The look is an acquired taste though. I will probably mess with the routing and see if I can get it cleaner once I wear through the original pads.
I've gotten a few longer rides in on this bike now and I absolutely love it. The lighter Prestige tubes and 28mm tires eat rough pavement for breakfast.

Love the vintage but Neuvations on a Bottecchia is driving me crazy (not in a good way). Love the bikes though.

It seems like all texts and posts come across way harsher than intended. However, if you can view someone speaking the words it helps me somewhat. I like Bianchi's opinions. Don't always agree, but I'd much rather he (and everyone) be bluntly honest. I agree that sometimes he comes across harshly, but as he said, he doesn't mean it. Just can't help himself. I understand that, because I'm often that way myself.
And some things DO look awful. If you can't stand the heat... ;-)
Y'know, its interesting, one of the ways to improve in life is to LISTEN to criticism. Praise is far less helpful in most situations. If we can get past our egos and actually hear the criticism, it's often incredibly helpful. On the other hand, praise does almost nothing for you and can hurt you... especially if it's inflating your ego. But I digress.
We need more hot bikes! I saw a Calfee bamboo bike at last weeks group ride. It was butt ugly and oh so sweet at the same time!

2012 fuji altamira. I just had the wheels built for me by a local guy. They are hed c2 rims with alchemy elf/orcul hubs. Been raining so much i havent had a chance to ride them yet. They came in at 1450 grams so that knocked about .25lbs off the bike. I didnt weigh it but it should be about 15.7lbs.

Not the first time I have put my bike on here. Just waiting on team decals, and new bartape. Also, rear wheel doesn't match because I am waiting on my stages power meter, and am borrowing a powertap for the time being.
