Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

If the Parlee was a 53cm instead of a 55cm, I would still have it.
...and I would be hunting it down. Nice rig.

I'll try carbon fibre again someday.

I'm happy with the rigs I have now, but the Parlee was a freaking sweet ride. I just couldn't get low enough.

I probably qualify then, being 55. I do prefer them to my round bars though. They give me more to grip and seem to have more positions that are comfortable for my hands.
I rode the round bars this weekend over Rabbit Ears pass and down onto the flats for about 90 miles r.t. I don't have hand issues and the bars were comfy enough, but I would consider flat bars an upgrade.
