Nonetheless, I like the kickstand on your Six13, it sends a statement when you're racing, you're your own man, the hell with what others think!

gunter's bike is an interesting project but it wouldn't consider it ridable except around the parking lot.

1. no cage for bottle so unless you are a camel about 1/2 the most.
2. the handlebars have no plugs which is illegal to race with.
3. the seatpost is fused into the saddle so there is NO adjustment. AX must make the combo to your exact measurements.
4. the chainrings of course cannot take a sprint or any heavy load.

he could easily go with one brake caliper and downtube shifters instead. i applaud his achievement.

no he doesn't need a kickstand at starbucks just hang it on the coat rack.

while I am not going to build a bike like that, I really do think he has good work with it. The guy has other bikes to ride too, someone has to have the lightest bike, don't they?

The fact that there is a photo of him riding it says a lot. In fact i'd bet he is in better fitness than 99% of the folks having a go at his bike also.

Some peolpe have old bikes, some have lots (mtb, track, road, bmx etc) others collect lightbulbs or stamps or even spend huge amounts of money on old cars that are rubbish compared to more oor less anything modern.

i think these bikes are awesome and I am not sure why people feel the need to attack them. I would never ride one because I couldnt afford one otherwise why not?

Now I'm confused about my identity...

There was a small strip of that bike on a finnish tv program. It was slightly different though, the dude said he has changed the CF front chainrings to 15g heavier aluminum chainrings because the CF ones broke after 300km. He also said he had titanium cranks previously but they broke after 3000km so now he has CF cranks (which are slightly heavier :o?). Just 4 rear cogs though, thats kinda crappy.
