Today is a new day in regards to moderation in the 'road bike' section of BF.
All threads in the 'road bike' section will be directly related to road cycling. Directly related.
There will be a zero tolerance policy to name calling.
There will be a zero tolerance policy towards disrespectfulness
All posts in a thread should pertain to the thread at hand.
If you have a question about 'moderation' it must be done in private via PM.
Why is this happening? Simply because too many members are commenting that they dont feel welcome in a variety of the forums.
Being polite, cordial and friendly is easy. Being nasty, sarcastic and contributing nonsense takes effort.
If you havent noticed there's a new sticky in regards to the new policy. While reading, you'll notice the 'new style' has been approved at the highest levels.
Feel free to contact me via PM if you have any questions.

I would look at Lotek's profile and see the open messege where he asked to be a mod.

So we complain about moderation, and you make it even stricter? The moderators don't have a stake in this community other than it makes their bosses money. Where is the homegrown feel?
