Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Snappypants

The person who invented snappypants is almost as much of a genius as the person who coined the term 'snappypants'.

These are truly a dream for a commuter.

Unfortunately his genius ended right before photography. Or fashion. But I still think he's the best guy ever. If you have a sister, she probably agrees.

Don't insult the genius of the snappypants inventor. He may be reading this very thread.

Snaps hidden inside the cuffs. Get to work, unsnap. BAM!

Are you asking that question of me, or of the inventor of SNAPPYPANTS?

Okay, so do you buy the whole pair of pants or just the snaps?

What's the advantage of SNAPPYPANTS over Yellow Racer Reflective Leg Bands?:

And where would one buy SNAPPYPANTS? The ElJamoquio Boutique?

So you wear the same pair of pants to work every day? Or maybe you'll just just have to buy a whole set of pants for the whole week just like a uniform but if you're not supposed to be wearing a uniform then people will think you're wearing the same pants everyday. Either way it's one big fashion faux pas.

Nowhere. Read my whole post. If you bike to work every day does that mean you'll have to buy a few of them to rotate during the week?

Any pants can be modified to be snappypants. Whether or not they should is a seperate question.

My mom coined the term snappypants in 1968. Then she sent me to my room for being one as I recall.

Oh, so you buy the snaps not the whole pants. Now it makes sense. Duh!

Bikes: two wheeled ones

I just use my REI brand reflective ankle bands to tie up my pants for commuting. Snappypants indeed...

Does anyone else find the username and the thread subject ironic?

Doesn't riding in your dress clothes get your underwear all, shall we say, steamy?

I generally try to avoid that.

Sounds like you need their sister product, VentyPants.

You don't have to keep track of where your snappypants are. They save at least ten seconds every morning. And take it from me, Snappypants are quite fashionable!!!! You can purchase the snaps for only $20 from ElJamoquio (pants sold separately). Or you could go to REI and purchase their $5 snap kit, it's enough to do about four pairs or so. But it isn't nearly as fashionable as SNAPPYPANTS. Plus I think REI's snaps are made from arsenic and ground-up puppies, and they give the proceeds of every sale to communist-terrorists.

Your call, really, either way works.

It was ~50 deg F this morning in Michigan, and my ride to work is ~4 miles. Not a problem.
