We all KNOW what 200K is. That was the permanent that I rode. We bumped it up to 130 at the end of the day because well....I felt like it. The OFFICIAL distance for the permanent was 207K but hey...I said 200K because people would know what that is. I went with my friend because he invited me and he is a distance junkie. 200, 300, 400 and 600K rider. He set at PR for that route so I guess we had a pretty good ride.
Nothing better to do blotto? It would be one thing to criticize if my distance was UNDER 200K.

What is a Permanent?
A Permanent is like a brevet but you can ride it any time, not just on one specific date. Like brevets, routes can start and finish in the same location, but they can also run point-to-point, and can be any distance of 200km+ (100-199km for a Permanent Populaire).
