Went to a birthday party with my kids for one of their classmates. Kids had a great time. Me, not so much. Stay at home moms talk TOO MUCH! OMG! How on earth do they find men to put up with the endless chatter? I have a headache now. :twitchy:

When a man is looking into your eyes, smiling, nodding and saying "uh huh", as you yak away about work, the kids, in-laws, or just about any subject but when we're gonna eat, trust me, we ain't hearing a word you're saying. :D

Please don't lump me in with that category. There's a reason I don't have many girlfriends. I can't stand listening to the mindless chatter. I prefer to hang out with the boys. You guys are way more fun than discussing the kids, clothes, hair, shoes, in-laws, etc.

So ...... I just spent the day passing a kidney stone. That has to be up there with the foot I burned to the bone in terms of pain.

In a small way, I was glad it was winter so that I wasn't really missing much cycling. I was off the bicycle all weekend, and won't do much over the next day or two either. My body feels like it has been torn apart.

I wondered if that was what was happening, Machka. My dad gets them pretty frequently. You should start feeling better pretty quickly now.

Had a pretty good day. Got out of school early and unexpectedly, so I got to get a decent ride in on the rollers today. AND, I was able to get some errands done. Very productive. :thumb:
