I figured you'd say that, so I've been working on the summary. It comes on at 9 Eastern. Here goes:

Basically, some terrorists are threatening the U.S. with an electronic device that can remotely take over air traffic control and cause airline collisions (and other as-yet-to-be-determined calamities). Why? Because the U.S. is poised to send troops into this African nation against these terrorists and in support of the President of that nation. They've warned the U.S. to stay out or they'll use the device.

The FBI is trying to track down the terrorists but the terrorists have a mole within the FBI that's keeping them informed. The heroes of the show, Jack Bauer & his partner (dark-haired guy, I forget his name) are working undercover with the terrorists to try and recover the device before they cause too much harm. The heroes work for CTU (Counter-Terrorist Unit), another federal special agency. The FBI doesn't know about CTU, so they think Jack & his partner are traitors working with the terrorists.

There's another (lame, imo) sub-plot going on concerning the husband of the female President of the U.S. trying to track down the killers of his son. In the last episode he was betrayed and kidnapped by the killer(s) and he's sure to make a mess of things just when the President is trying to deal with this African crisis.

That's about it.

Oh, by the way, the President of the African nation along with his wife have just been taken captive in the U.S., again by the terrorists.

Oh, also, a female FBI agent got herself in a mess and was captured and fake-shot by Jack Bauer. She's laying in a ditch, covered in plastic, and Jack Bauer & his partner were just ordered to bury her. They're pretending to do so . . . we've got to see how this turns out.

It's on ABC. I don't know when they show it because I don't have TV. Funny it should work out that way now! My best steady work comes from TV shows and commercials and I don't watch them :P

I wouldn't know, but they say it's worse than the pain in childbirth. All I can say is that if women went through that every time they had a kid ........ they'd only have one!!

Well, I can't speak to the pain of the kidney stone, but I will tell you that before I reached 8 weeks into my pregnancy I knew that I would never do it again. Miserable! I was miserable from the beginning. And, yes, there was pain that was unimaginable. It's a good thing I got two the first time.

of course if one had nothing but this thread to use as a guide, one might think you a chatterbox. :D
