Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

More threads per page would solve that problem.

That is a very good idea and has been suggested....but it seems the answer from admins is, in true BF style, "HTFU."

Wasn't the original title of this thread "Bored Snowbound Roadies Need a Thread about Nothing"???

PS is there an easier way to get to the last page of a longish thread like this? It now takes an extra step versus the old forum....discuss...

Someone tell Velo-Vol over in the 41 Twitter Feed that all references to the movie GH Day go here.
(I refuse to promote that thread anymore - everyone else should too)
BTW VV, that was a good one.

I was just going to email the admin about how this website's content has gone to absolute **** lately. Then, I find this thread at the top of the list. No, it wasn't Pcad's thread. It was our very own admin.

Why are moderators and admins allowing this forum to turn into the foo? Ever since the upgrade, this section has turned into a joke.

The original intent of this post when Tom created it last year was to compile all the Roadie FOO into one thread and not have it peanut buttered across the entire forum.
It's not working well, is it?

edit: I don't think an email to the mods is going to help, I think their fully aware Rome is burning.
