Thanks, I am strongly thinking of going all black on the tape, hoods, and saddle just to tone it down a bit. I wish there was an easy way to get the words off the crank arms too.

old School Tarmac in 3,2,1......
The top picture was earlier this season. The white was a pain to keep clean and the Zipp tubulars were just not for me. The bike is a lot less sexy now but much more user friendly....as seen below.

Here's my '07 Pro. I've got some hand-built wheels on it now.

Ya, if you're talking about mine, you can barely see the LBS sticker on the inside of the downtube. This is an old picture and it was removed a while ago. I'll need to take a new pic with the new wheels once the sun comes out again....

Here's mine. Although I had "planned" to get a 09 Pro frame at some point this year I couldn't pass up the deal I got on this 08 Expert, less than what I would have paid for a 09 frame. I am in the process of looking for some new wheels. LBS has a pretty good deal on some 404 demo's...

here is mine, 05 s-works full Carbon Tarmac
...and yes, I've flipped it since this pic....
I also picked up some white far and near hoods since my right shifter rubber hood was all screwed up from a crash. Since I've only been riding the winter bike, I haven't taken a pic of it yet.

Hey NUMB NUTS, that's why it's called "BIKE FORUM". Nerds like you crack me up. I guess everyone would much rather read your posts, as you spread your scary KNOWLEDGE to the biking community. Would be better to see pics of great looking bikes like this one, any day. Get a clue. You gotta be a college boy. It shows!!

Question guys...If you were to buy a 2009 SL2 frameset would you get the module with the Specialized Crankset or just the frame kit and use a 7800 crank? Those are the 2 only options I have available.

I've ridden with both crank sets. Last year I had D/A cranks. This year I am on all specialized cranks. I do like my specialized cranks better. They feel a little stiffer then the D/A. And I think, don't quote me, but I think they are lighter then the D/A. Also the big thing is that you can buy a separate spider from specialized for about $25 retail, and all you need then is chain rings, and you can run compacts or regular if you want. Takes me all of about 20 minutes to switch over to compacts when I am climbing a lot. And its the same arms instead of having to buy an entirely different crankset.
