Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I guess I never took a "garage door shot" of my SL in it's final configuration. I changed my saddle out to the Arione CX that's now on my SL2.

It's the only one so far with blue, and I like blue. However, putting Trek parts on a Specialized loses you points as well.

Funny, because he was recently considering removing the stickers from his wheels.

lol I'm going to have to suggest that to my friend who's a pilot in the Navy.

At a hardware store, we had a frequent customer who liked to ask new employees where the elbow grease was, or if we carried a left-handed monkey wrench.

It looks best in white IMO, but I don't think they are very aesthetically pleasing overall. Very good bikes though, but a little too busy for my taste.

I was in the Army, Air Cav. We would send rookies to the tower to ask for the key to the approach gate.

If there is not enough surface space left on your bike to brand with more decals, just move to rider skin and tattoo corporate logos there too. It's already happening. There is a masters thesis in this somewhere.

Air Force cop here, we do that or we tell them the pilot lost the keys to his plane and they have to help him find keys.

Upon successful completion of my first race season this year on my Allez Elite, I plan to reward/motivate myself for the next season by posting a picture on this thread.

I like the Specialized brand, and a small LBS won me over as a customer this last year. Hope to work out a deal on their leftover 09's next winter.
