Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Some shorts and jerseys online at Performance - extra 20% off the sale price of their Performance brand clothing, through today. Less than $100 for the three items.

Ultra II bibs from Performance. %20 off + %10 coupon dropped them to $50, which is pretty good... right? Right?

Also, about that cutter saddle I bought earlier on, if anybody still cares: it was pretty crappy. Didn't work out with my butt.

Very good deal.
I think the Ultra II shorts are a good buy at their regular price

I actually liked the functionality of the strada double wireless better than any other computer i've used (including the garmin 705 i have now). My only problem was that after about a month because of the way you engage the button to change info fields, it would start to rattle on the less smooth surfaces, it drove me nuts.

So much for that... after a 'derailed train' delayed the arrival of my Shimano SPD shoes and pedals, I received them only to find that they were a size too small... and that the size that I needed was sold out... Moving on, I've switched over to the road SPD-SL shoe/pedal combo that they DO have in my size -

Really wanted the two-sided entry, but this may very well be a future excuse to buy some Speedplays...
