Oh and as far as computers go, since I'M going to Tuscany and will be traveling on unknown roads a bit, I was thinking about a Garmin 705, but I have to admit it's getting expensive. Might just have to grab an additional speed sensor for the Polar CS200 I have on the other bike... just need to find where to but the stuff at a reasonable price.
KRAMER: Yeah, ya know you haven't been around for a while. MAESTRO: Oh yeah, I've been at my house in Tuscany. KRAMER: Oh Tuscany huh? Hear that Jerry? That's in Italy. JERRY: I hear it's ah beautiful there. MAESTRO: Well if you're thinking of getting a place there don't bother. There's really nothing available. JERRY: (Surprised) Huh? |

A CAAD9 to replace my hilariously old Miele. Going from a 31 pound bike with downtube shifters to a 19 pound Cannondale with Ultegra is a HUGE adjustment!

Specialized S-Works road shoes.
nice shoes - stiff yet comfortable, very thin last, supportive heel cups and the built-in varus wedge profile agrees with my anatomy. the boa closure system is great a big selling point over the specialized pro road. http://www.thetristore.com/products/sworksroad08.jpg |

I was encouraged by all the positive threads on BF. I paid full price at the LBS though. I like them better than my Sidis.

Agreed. I love mine. I was skeptical at first -- I only got them because we were doing a team buy thing and shoes was part of the deal. Now I just love them.

I think the Reynolds come alive aesthetically without the decals anyway. Belgian beer, hair dryer, patience => stealthy hoops.
