Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I now live in FL and summer has been here for a few weeks so I ordered new "summer" shoes (2012 Specialized Pro wide) from my LBS on Monday. They have more vents and mesh than my Sidi Genius 5s. I was told the shoes should be here before the weekend.

The pack has some bad reviews, but I took this as a chance to prove them wrong. I will put it through a torture test, and post my results.

I exchanged my 143 Toupe for a 130 after it wasn't working and I discovered the shop guy had managed to misread the assometer and put me on the wrong size. Still need to try a longer ride but this just might be The One.

2 pairs of castelli socks, assos butt cream, assos gear wash. New socks are way fast! Wait till the new bib shorts show up! I'll be faster than lance.

Trying out these 25s for the next set...my lard azz is already starting to wear down the 23s in the rear after only 800 miles.

Ordered these yesterday from Amazon shipped next day, so I'll be getting them today, just in time for a rainy Tour de Cure on Saturday.

This is far from summer. It's nice right now. In a few months the air will feel like hot soup.

For USA, I got Corsa 23 and 25 here but they have all models in stock. Have seen everything besides the 25mm sizes on some other sites but with higher prices.

Replaces an SRAM RED component set, and so far, I'm loving it!
