Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Jealous-- I've been eyeing that bike for a while now as a secondary/gravel bike. No way I would have passed it up at that price!

36 spoke open pro on ultegra rear hub.
Not what I was looking to buy, but it was the only wheel available in Whitefish and I had a broken axle.

Not where I ride - major metropolitan area, nothing is open to hunting by ordinance anywhere I would ride. Not any significant open land except for municipal county and Metroparks all closed to hunting firearms and bow and arrow.

Could always ride my Prodeco Outlaw - bright orange frame. Or my Crux even though it's a cross bike - another bright orange frame. My Cannondale is a better color match though.

I'm nuts, lol.

Why did you replace your touring bike with just a bit over 6,700 miles? My friend has over 100,000 on his that he bought new about 15 or 16 years ago and since then he's gone on a tour every year and still uses it for touring to this day.

20-70% off Parts, Accessories, and Clothing - Every bike, Every part, EVERYTHING is ON SALE

Last year I got a Giro Synthe MIPS helmet for $175 out the door. The helmet was not in stock since it was literally just released a few days before.

I went in to buy a lube and walked out with (2) 25gram CO2, for the CX bike and the jacket.

Some new carbon junk:

Unfortunately one of the cages grips my bottle significantly looser than the other. Lost a bottle on the first ride, so I'm already awaiting a replacement
