Helpless Bike Fiend
Eyes for the Blind
Most recent purchase was a set of interchangeable lenses with a prescription insert. After blowing up a pair of $800.00 prescription Oakleys, I went with this system. The progressive lenses cost less than $250 with replacement warranty, and I get a variety of lens types from clear to polarized.

Some Chinese knock off
https://www.bicyclebooth.com/product...sports-glasses
They hold up well and the insert is a standard size if I want to upgrade the shell to some other, more reputable brand.

I just bought a few things in the past week:
Cannondale Performance 1 Jersey
Nashbar Softgrip Handlebar Tape
Plus, a base layer that I need to return (too small), and some cleats for a pair of shoes I have yet to use.

riding partner of mine has one of these, absolutely incredible bike, comfy, fast, and conquers the unpaved MUPs with ease. I was on the fence about getting one a few years ago and I should have done it. kickin myself in the a$$ for not doing it, especially the hot orange one from like 2014 i think.

I just picked up Whole Foods for $13.5 billion. Soon I will add bike racks outside every store for shoppers with Italian bikes only.

This. Don't know how well it will work but it's only $10 CND with Amazon so if it breaks, I'll return it.

I bought a set of these https://www.competitivecyclist.com/S...B-BKFROREA-SHI to replace my aging set of Shimano RS81's (Thanks to whomever posted that deal on here) with a backup cassette. Competitive Cyclist already called me up, reached out to me, personally.. asked me if I had any questions, any concerns.. wanted them to install the cassette for me, free of charge.. and I thought "wow.. I've never had service like that when ordering online". Sure, it wasn't a HUGE deal, but they won my business for a good long time.

BR-5800 caliper brakes. (Black 105).
They replaced an old silver Tiagra and an old silver 105. They were like 3 gens old. My gosh, what a difference.
