65 and sunny here. I finally got my workout ride in today after 4 days off the bike because of weather and work! I crushed it. No sucking today. Like anyone cares. This is the thread to attempt a derailment, isn't it?

Nachoman 03-05-09 07:55 PM

Without Brandy's assistance this thread would not have made ten pages.

BHBiker 03-05-09 07:56 PM

This thread was never on the rails, if you hadn't noticed.

Brandy this, Brandy that... Brandy, Brandy, Brandy! You guys are giving her way too much credit. Let's get back to reality: She's a cyclist and she posts on BF, right? Therefore she sucks.

And for all her friendliness and sharing of her charms, you know what she'd get if all of us would ever find ourselves in the same room (preferably a bar) together? She'd get an inappropriate, out of tune group serenade of us singing Brandy by the Looking Glass. I'm sure she just loves that song.

But that doesn't mean I can't flame them for it on BF. Or that all of you can't flame me for being a massive hypocrite ahole. What's your point?

Tell me something my 15 year old daughter doesn't tell me three times a week.

Carry on.

I was s.l.o.w. and stupid today. I got an itch to do a remote climb on a closed road and ended up doing 60 miles with 7300 ft of climbing on 240 calories.

trinity000 03-05-09 08:53 PM

Wow i can't believe i read all 10 pages of non-sense... Entertaining as it was!

BTW Thanks Brandy!

powpow 03-05-09 08:56 PM

Why stop at 10? If we can bribe Brandy to post more pics, we could hit 20 by midnight.

trinity000 03-05-09 08:57 PM

I am game, with the wife being out of town i have ALL NIGHT to spend on BF without getting B****ed at.

Naterider 03-05-09 09:10 PM

Brandy is the straw that stirs the bf beverage.

Glad you made it back ok! :thumb: Had George a little worried. I chatted with him most of the day when I should've been working. You guys are going to be [somewhat] close to us when you come out for the Trans Iowa 320. My wife's originally from [around] the area where the race starts and finishes.

^That was a looong way to go for that punchline.

patentcad 03-06-09 03:07 AM

I'm not so slow.

Thanks! I know he was worried. :( I went out to Crystal Lake alone, which I've been asked not to do. Oops. :innocent:

Unfortunately I won't be coming out for Trans Iowa. :( I had plans to do Breathless Agony (11,000 ft of climbing in the first 70 miles) that Saturday, so I will be here at home getting my ass handed to me by girls that weigh 100 pounds. :roflmao2:

Sounds like I'd easily get my ass handed to me by girls that weigh 100 pounds as well. :D Did you really post that response at 4:45am? I was just getting a cup of coffee and I'm 2 hrs. ahead of you! No worries on missing the Trans Iowa 320; it will be about 200 miles from Omaha anyway. I told George I'd buy him a beer if the race was closer. :thumb:

Yes...George was commuting to work, so I got up when he did, at 4:00 a.m. to make coffee and some sandwiches for him.

You went up 39 alone? Bad girl! We went up there on Saturday as far as we could. There was snow blocking the road at around 6500 feet.

100 pound girls? Coleen handed most of the riders their asses by finishing 14th. She's amazing.
