What is that something like 58 posts in response to your own thread? That has to account for the vast majority of 4 pages. How do you find time to ride?

I'm joining that pity party, too...late October since I last worked. However, today my bike came off the trainer and I'm about to go on a reasonably windy (30+ MPH gusts) 40-miler. for my first of 2009. It'll be a cross-wind mostly, so I can get over that. Off I go!

What do I recieve for #500? Is 500 posts a wood gift? I'm getting mr.pcad a gold watch.

Did someone say Roubaix? |
Quietly, in an innocent and legitimate appearing thread purporting to be about Cervelos, Cannondales, and Freds, the Foosterization of Road Cycling had begun.
They never knew what hit them. |

OK, my first ride of 2009 did not go well! At mile 5.9, I hit a piece of glass and flatted. Then while pumping up my spare tube, I broke off the top of the presta valve at about 100 PSI. The valve was open so I have ZERO idea how the tube stayed up...but it got me home. Going to buy two new tubes and hope for better luck tomorrow. Plus the winds are only supposed to be about 10MPH tomorrow. |
There is surprising Zen in Foo.
