had a 15-18 mph tailwind behind me so hardly pedaled through that stretch. the pictured “rollers” stretch is almost exactly a .5 mile so it’s longer than the phone cam depicts the scene.

definitely not an angle i've seen. drove up to lake tahoe approx 6 years ago via the 395 and monitor pass and through markleeville enroute to the lake. only able to do two, 30-mile rides nearish the lake...no time to hit any of the various death ride passes. from san diego driving, tough to make it up to yosemite, much less tahoe. hopefully someday soonish but not holding my breath.
